I have two confessions to make.
One, I don’t consider myself to be a master of guitar.
But I have been playing since age 16 and 20+ years later, I feel more in love with my guitar than ever. I am kicking myself for not really being as passionate as I am back when I was still in school — but really, it’s not too late and I’m not complaining.
Which brings me to the next confession.
I feel that I have the potential to become a master of guitar. And I want to, really badly.
I feel very proud of the songs I’m writing with my guitar, and my woodshedding now seems more efficient than ever — my ROI of time invested vs. progress made seems to have improved quite a lot. I need to stay diligent and focused, and above all, keep learning, learning, and learning, so that I can master this instrument. Playing the guitar is one of the most challenging things I do in life, and I feel grateful for having found a endeavor that is worthy of spending my life pursuing.
So, because I want to get better, and because teaching is the best way to learn — here I am, with this blog.
I’ll share with you everything I’m learning, on my path to becoming a master of guitar.
